What is Preloot?
Preloot is a beauty sampling service, with a focus on local handmade beauty products.
Can I choose what samples I get?
Absolutely. We believe you should be given the choice because we simply believe you should be given the choice!
How many samples can I select?
You can choose up to 5 unique sample items per bag.
Is there a limit to the number of samples I can redeem?
Yes, limits occur on 2 occasions. First, you may choose only up to 5 unique samples items per Preloot bag. No duplication of samples would be allowed even if you redeem the same in a separate bag. Second, you will have to wait 2 weeks before you can redeem the same product sample.
Why limit what and how many samples I can redeem?
Because sharing is caring! We have limited number of samples of each product and would love for more to participate in the discovery process!
Why are the samples not free to redeem?
The flat fee of $8.99 covers our logistical, delivery and packaging expenses in the process of bringing you the product samples. We do not get money from brands to distribute samples.
What is LootStore?
LootStore is our retail platform. You can look forward to finding interesting products for sale here and have the opportunity to convert to the full-size version of products you have sampled.
Can I purchase products from LootStore without having sampled any item(s)?

What kind of payment does Preloot accept?
We currently accept only payments made through PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to make payments. Debit and credit cards are supported by PayPal.
When will my payment be processed?
After checking out, your payment will be processed upon your receipt of an order confirmation email.
Are there any hidden cost(s)?
No. All you have to pay would be clearly stated upon checking out.
Can I cancel my order?
You will not be able to cancel your order once you have successfully checked-out your purchase(s).
My payment cannot go through, can you help?
If you suspect the problem lies with your payment card or PayPal account, we suggest you contact your card provider or PayPal respectively. If the situation persists and you are unsure of the problem, please do not hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we shall attend to you shortly.
How are my items delivered?
If your order is posted out by Preloot, your purchases would be delivered via SingPost ordinary mail by default. Registered mail is made available but optional. To find out under what circumstances your order would not be posted by Preloot, please refer to our Delivery & Returns Policy.
How much does delivery cost?
For redemption of Preloot samples, delivery charges for ordinary mail would already be included within the flat charge of $8.99 per package. Users can opt for registered mail with an additional payment of $2.24.
For purchases from LootStore, a flat rate of $1.49 would apply for delivery via ordinary mail. Users can opt for registered mail with an additional payment of $2.24.
When will my purchase(s) be delivered?
If your order is posted out by Preloot, your package would be despatched within 2-5 working days of you placing your order. Based on experience, your package would arrive at your doorsteps within 2 working days after dispatch although we cannot guarantee this. To find out under what circumstances your order would not be posted by Preloot, please refer to our Delivery & Returns Policy.
Can I track my order?
You will be able to do so if you have opted for registered mail.
I received sample(s) different from what I selected, what should I do?
In accordance with our Delivery & Returns Policy, you are required to inform us at email@example.com and return the items to 10 Ubi Crescent, #04-60, Singapore 408564, within 7 days of receiving the package. Your email to us must clearly state the order number, reason(s) for the return along with photo evidence and proof of delivery of the items back to us. Preloot Pte Ltd will only accept the return and process the refund subject to the following terms and conditions:
Do you deliver outside of Singapore?
No. We currently only operate and deliver within Singapore.
How do I get more information on the products I have ordered?
You will be able to get all relevant information on the product pages of our website. If you are unsure of how to do this, or require information not stated on our website, please do not hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Kindly provide your particulars and order number in your email.
How do I provide feedback for my purchase(s)?
You will receive an email notification to leave feedback on the products you have purchased, whether they are Preloot samples or full-size items from LootStore. This notification will be sent to you a week after your purchases have been processed.
What are LootPoints?
LootPoints are rebate points of monetary value designed as a way for Preloot to thank our users for your participation in the Preloot community. 10 LootPoints will be equivalent to $0.10.
How do I earn LootPoints?
You earn LootPoints by providing feedback on products you have purchased through our website.
How can I use my LootPoints?
LootPoints can be used upon checkout to offset the amount payable for purchases of Preloot samples as well as full-size items from LootStore. There will be no option to apportion the LootPoints to be redeemed, i.e. if you choose to use your LootPoints, LootPoints up to the limit of the amount payable would be used.
Will LootPoints expire?
LootPoints acquired at any point in time throughout a year would expire at the start of the subsequent year. For example, LootPoints acquired on 1 Jan 2015 and 31 Dec 2015 would both expire on 1 Jan 2016.
